Scratch is not allowed to send email...

My browser / operating system: Windows 7, Chrome 53.0.2785.101, Flash 22.0 (release 0)

Hi, I'm a teacher, and have a student who is unable to reset her password. She receives the message “Scratch is not allowed to send email to the address associated with this user”.

Her username is Elsa_Za_Man

Can someone check this for me?
Is this the best place to resolve this?
Plus, is there anything we can do at our end to prevent this in the future?

Cheers.

Was the e-mail address the student used a school e-mail address? Sometimes a school e-mail system is set up to reject automated messages (of which password reset e-mails fall under that category since it is delivered via a no-reply e-mail address); you might want to check to see if the school e-mail system is set up to accept e-mails coming in from the @scratch.mit.edu domain.
