Looks like $ though, idk if that would be a good message to deliver as a favicon lol
I mean is “GIVE ME ALL YOUR MONEY” such a bad message?

Neat site! It has led us to reflect on our image hosting policy.

After some thought, we have decided to remove Modshare and Futuresight from the list of acceptable image hosting services for Scratch. For the safety and privacy of Scratch users, we feel it is most appropriate to only allow well-established image hosting services such as ImageShack and Cubeupload.

It is still totally fine to link to Modshare projects or other Futuresight pages from the forums; they just won’t work as image hosts.

I feel as if I had spent so much effort making a better alternative to Cubeupload only to be abruptly and rudely shut down before I was even given a chance…

Well, perhaps you should have made your image host not abuse the modshare domain, instead of cheating around it and using it without permission?

Probably because it wasn't “well established”.

I don't know much about establishing in image sharing service, though.

edit: woohooboy is right – maybe if you properly asked if this could be whitelisted. (After “establishing” it though. )

I felt that it would be easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission, for the Scratch team has said previously that they would not accept requests to whitelist more image hosts. Modshare.tk was already on the whitelist, so I decided to make it useful and set out to work on a high quality image host that lacked the problems of the existing hosts in the whitelist.

Unfortunately, this community has become quite hostile to me as a person, because of my mistakes in the past. People in this thread, moments after the original post, denounced the service because the user who made the post was comp09. The thread quickly devolved into ad hominem attacks. Such hostility has been extended to among the Scratch team, as evidenced by the post above by speakvisually.

Scratch has become a minefield for me and my life. It has soured my relationship with my parents and school administration, when the moderation techniques practiced by the Scratch team created a huge mess when the school's IP address was blocked. My participation in Scratch has somehow become knowledge of some of my classmates, who have bothered me about it.

I am considering ceasing my participation within the Scratch community, for it and a significant portion of its community poses a threat to me and my future.

To those of you who were supportive, tried out the service, and gave me a chance, thank you.

TL;DR: I never planned to write so much; you'll have to read it. Sorry.

Aww this is really sad I was starting to use it now right when someone made it better the scratch team took that time to remember to remove that service that you where using I think it is very unfair to us and other members of the scratch community. I feel like this act is discouraging kids like @comp09 from making sites that helps the scratch community. I also want to point out some things.

well-established image hosting services such as ImageShack and Cubeupload.
The whole point of his project is to make modshare a more well established hosting site if you did not like them why did you add them in the first place.

Could you guys please re think your decision.
Thanks!

The removal of Modshare & Futuresight are not related to your previous participation on Scratch. I extend my apologies if this action came across as hostile. ImageShare illuminated safety and security concerns related to using smaller hosting services. These concerns were present prior to the creation of your site—and should have been examined more closely by our team. We wish you all the the best with ImageShare moving forward. If you have any further questions, I suggest sending a message to Contact Us.
