Maybe someday there will be 3D elements built into Scratch - but I'm not aware of any current plans to do so. Scratch is really intended for first-time programmers so we work hard to keep it as simple as possible - and 2D is simpler than 3D.

Sorry pal, but the scratch team already said ‘no’ to this one. If you want to make 3D projects, try making the engine for 3D yourself, then working off of that. That's why there are 3D projects on the 2D scratch, so go ahead and look at that stuff if you really want 3D projects. Plus, you probably only need to make the 3D engine once, so no worries on that count

StarLogo TNG is a 3D programming program with a block-based Scratch-like interface. Try it.

Already denied, but there are some projects going around in Scratch with 3D wireframes (in their early stages). Check them out.

Scratch's stage is 2D and has 2D features, but you can code 3D simulations in a block-based environment with StarLogo TNG.

1st thing is those 3 previous scratch342 messages were me using my brothers account the next ones will really be scratch342 s messages

2nd thing is there could be an option to choose what editor you want when you click create if the scratchteam thinks this would make things hard for beginners make it so new scratchers can't use the 3d editor.

But new scratchers might already be programmers and want to use the 3D editor anyways.

And there are multiple 3D engines written IN SCRATCH for other scratchers.

Also, there are scratch 1.4 mods that have 3D.

As soon as the 2.0 source code is released you can write a mod for 3D.

Yes but it would be good if we could have an option of difficulty or an automatic one e.g. If you're a New Scratcher you have 2D if you're a Scratcher it's then an option.

but an 8 year old might be already a programer

but if new scratchers and people without accounts coudn't access it that would still make scratch is easy to pick up

Reason is; the 2d version (known as scratch) isn't finished yet! That would be bad trying to keep up with both!
Someday, possibly; but the regular scratch is still a WIP, that's one reason they haven't done it.
