i am making a multiplayer game, and i want to have players chat, but it is currently not allowed. what if the options were in a list, so you could only pick from the menu and not post anything inappropriate, and have your options limited to appropriate content? this could allow chatting systems where nobody could post inappropriate content. many websites that are kid friendly often use this feature, like Webkinz. i think that this might be useful to multiplayer game creators, and help have a friendly community for scratch.

You can have chat as long as all the messages are predefined, yes.
