So I have a project I've been working on for months, (Smoke to Smother - a Dragon Adventure Story) and it was working great, I was about halfway through, and the project stopped working.
Whenever I clicked the flag, it switched to the wrong backdrop. I re-tried clicking the flag a few times, and I tried restarting my computer and restarting scratch, but it didn't help. I checked in every sprite and the backdrop scripting file, but there was nothing that would switch it to the wrong backdrop.
I am really frustrated because I have been working on it for so long, and I would really appreciate it if anyone would help me!

I would love to take up your offer, but I think i'll try to fix it myself; I'm not anywhere close to done, and I want to wait until it is to post it.
This same bug just happened again, and I really think its just one of those things that it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. (an undetermined bug.)

Hmm. We should be able to fix it, a undetermined bug is still a bug and there is probably a determined cause.

Anyways, if you would like to not share it then it is completely up to you. You said part 1 is shared, does that mean the bug is gone?

Okay, this happens often to lot's of people. As far as I know, it is an unintentional glitch on Scratch. Try contacting the ST by clicking “Contact us” at the bottom of the page

I think I would like to see a bit more analysis on the scripting before we assume it's a bug. One thing to try is to make a copy of the project, verify that it still shows the problem, then try to remove as much of the project as you can to see if the bug goes away. This can help isolate the problem and show if it is really a bug or just a script issue.
