Yes, this, possibly with some modifications, is one hypothesis.

I think this would be a better fit for Show and Tell, Advanced Topics is for advanced discussion of the Scratch software itself and other programming languages.

It is basically just: Could you give it to me specifically? I am on my phone.
When you travel back in time, you travel back to a different version of that time, and when you travel forwrds you travel back to your version, not that version, therefore you not only travel back in time, you also travel into different “parralel universes” if that summary makes sense?

This is all based on the assumption, that time actually exists. I don't think so. IMO time is just a theoretical concept, that makes it easier for us, to compare different motions/processes.
Imagine you have an aquarium that somehow is a closed system. If you rearrange the whole aquarium into the state it was yesterday (every single atom, every state of energy etc.) does the aquarium travel back in time? If not, then what is time travel in your opinion?

Time travel to me and placing your self at a separate point in your timeline. If I went back in time a day, I would be at the same place i was at that time a day ago. Of course all of this is just a theory (A TIME Theory) but I think it could be possible
Please keep in mind this theory is from a 14 year old with limited knowledge of time and space.

That was a joke for the people here on the advanced topics who spend a lot of time coding.what do you mean by git? So basically just git?
If you're interested, Git is a version control system which uses “branches” that are comparable to the “timelines” you're describing. It isn't a perfect analogy, but it was close enough that I could make a joke out of it.

Right, but what MartinBraendli's saying is that, he doesn't believe time is anything more than a concept. I'm not an expert on the subject myself, having learnt online, but I'll quote Wikipedia:This is all based on the assumption, that time actually exists. I don't think so. IMO time is just a theoretical concept, that makes it easier for us, to compare different motions/processes.

Two contrasting viewpoints on time divide many prominent philosophers. One view is that time is part of the fundamental structure of the universe—a dimension independent of events, in which events occur in sequence. Sir Isaac Newton subscribed to this realist view, and hence it is sometimes referred to as Newtonian time. The opposing view is that time does not refer to any kind of “container” that events and objects “move through”, nor to any entity that “flows”, but that it is instead part of a fundamental intellectual structure (together with space and number) within which humans sequence and compare events. This second view, in the tradition of Gottfried Leibniz and Immanuel Kant, holds that time is neither an event nor a thing, and thus is not itself measurable nor can it be travelled.I think it's something along the lines of “time” not being related to things happening, to events, but rather just a concept for us to with greater ease explain and understand the world around us.
Your part about timelines also doesn't help explain much – so the answer to “Imagine you have an aquarium that somehow is a closed system. If you rearrange the whole aquarium into the state it was yesterday (every single atom, every state of energy etc.) does the aquarium travel back in time?” would, for you, be “Yes”?

it would be no. You didn't go back in time, you only arranged the tank so it was the exact state of being that it was previously.Right, but what MartinBraendli's saying is that, he doesn't believe time is anything more than a concept. Time isn't a thing, I think that's why it CAN be traveled. Swimming in a lake, I cannot stay in the same space of water. But if I swim a few feet to the right, I'm further from where I started. In my theory, when you swim you travel time. If I swam across the lake, the water would be exactly as it was before i traveled time. My theory is that when you travel time, times does continue flowing, but it goes backwards. Instead of tracing back over it's self, it doubles back to make a new timeline, as shown in the project.

But now if the universe is deterministic, tomorrow the aquarium will be in the identical configuration it would have been, except a day earlier
