I am building a robot for a project. We have a budget of $200, and will likely use Arduino or something similar to program it.

Things not to suggest (already been done by people in our program/not allowed):

  Handwriting emulator
  Painting bot
  Rubics cube bot
  

We want something sufficiently sophisticated in both hardware in software, because we have a skilled amateur engineer and software dev.

If your idea ends up being used, I will make a sweet powerpoint and share it with all of you guys, and I will follow you and love/favorite some of your projects, or make a project advertising you, depending upon what you want.

It would be very nice if we could have an idea by the end of today, so don't be afraid to post your idea, even if it seems stupid.

If you want to go down an AI route, I'd suggest using a Raspberry Pi. You can do movement stuff using its GPIO and Python, as well.

- Interactive gaming robot; kind of like Nintendo's R.O.B. but obviously better
