I have one question about making collabs, would you have to do it by remixing the project?Remixes is usually the most common way to make a collaboration. This works by having a studio where the main project is, where people can remix it, add on, and put that in the studio, which makes an “update”. Another way- but more dangerous- is to create a new scratch account where everyone involved has the username or password, and then you can all access the same project.

Is it ok to play with your family member on 2 computers and they can change the email address and password?

That's a good idea. If scratch programmers will make it, Scratch will be more functional and Scratch will be more popular. Scratchers will make better projects and they will learn to be a helpful part of their community.

<snip>I'm personally not comfortable with that statement - unless the collab members know each other in real life and are already sharing information because they are, say, sharing a computer - or are family members. Otherwise, I feel that the safety risks to the members are too high. The potential to abuse the account, or personal information stored in the account, for unmoderated communication is a big concern.
As long as every member consents to sharing information, the collaboration is okay. Knowing a little bit about everyone helps form trust among members and reduces the risk of sabotage.
The Person I'm Doing A Collab With On This Account Is My Best Friend, So… That's Okay, Right?

what if you know the person IRL?If they are a family member or you are sharing a computer anyway, that would be okay. Otherwise, it's best if you use separate accounts.
hmm…. i did not know that. even though i dont share an account, i am working with my friend ChrissyCat ( not on scratch) to write a novel. is that ok? also, how do you comment on a forum?
