StopDon't trust Norton. It is the equivalent of Mackeeper. And Norton kept opening popups with rubbish like “Your computer could turn in a zombie possessed by hackers!!1!”

I said, delete or reverse the leftovers. The question is “where is the other stuff?” I've already answered it…Reverse/delete the other stuff, tooMacKeeper might leave stuff in other places.Put Mackeeper in the trash, remove other stuff, then empty trash. And switch back to google.Again, Yahoo! is safe, but if Mackeeper is changing it to a fake version then try to look up how to remove Mackeeper. I recently accidently got mackeeper. i uninstalled it, but i think theres still leftovers. example: it set my default search engine to a weird mock of yahoo.com, and i changed my search engine back to google in the preferences. but when i came back, it was still that weird yahoo! can anyone tell me the reason?
(also, trashing the app does not delete the other stuff.)
Your mac has a recovery HD right? check by holding the option key ( the key next to cmd, alt) at boot up to check. anyway if so save important files to USb and reinstall Mac OS X from it by selecting it a bootup.

So, go at your own risk. I assume by opening any links past stallman.org you understand what may be further.

Computer Viruses
I wrote this on a Windows Vista that used to have McAfee, but now has Norton Antivirus Online. His iPad isn't jailbroken as far as I know, so it can't get viruses. If he sues you then sue him back. :3 I wanted to make a virus to get even with this person in my class. He hacked my YouTube account. I then thought about making a virus that deletes files, then brings up an error that says “TROGDOR HAS BURNINATED YOUR COMPUTER.” He said that he'd sue me, though, and he doesn't have a computer. (He does have an iPad, though.)
And iPads CAN get viruses. It just takes more work. :3
I didn't even know iPads could get viruses -_-
Once I got the fake FBI scam virus on windows vista.
My parents somehow deleted it by going into Safe Mode.
Then they said "You know what? McAfee is not protecting our computer.
1 hour later, then uninstalled McAfee and replaced it with Norton 360
Norton cleans out quite a bit of space
define delete
repeat until <in recycle bin>
move (1) steps
end
say ['Wait! No, that's not right. I'm supposed to open up a Command Prompt and delete everything in System32!]

Dude, viruses aren't easy to remove as deleting a file. You need to find the files on the whole computer.I said, delete or reverse the leftovers. The question is “where is the other stuff?” I've already answered it…Reverse/delete the other stuff, tooMacKeeper might leave stuff in other places.Put Mackeeper in the trash, remove other stuff, then empty trash. (also, trashing the app does not delete the other stuff.)
Also, you can use a system restore feature on the Mac…
