I heard of Wattpad, is that a good website to share/create stories?

I'm writing one about a girl who is really unlucky but then she meets Otto, a cat, who changes her life forever.
I don't know whether I should make Otto die at the end.

My feet trudge along the ground as I walk down the road, five minutes away from home. A soft meow behind me causes me to turn around and see a little black and white cat. “Hello, kitty.” I say. Hello Olivia. I turn around swinging my head to see who spoke, nobody was there. My attention goes back to the cat. “What's your name?” I ask the cat, reaching for the collar. My name is Otto. Once again I turn around. Nobody there. Understanding dawns on me and I turn to the cat. “Are, Are you Otto?” I whisper. Why yes, yes I am. Otto's eyes glitter with amusement. I shake my head and murmur to myself, “You're just imagining things Liv, just imagining.” I start walking home again. A few minutes later a mew comes from behind me. I turn around and see that Otto has been following me. “Otto? Why are you following me?” He says nothing just sits in front of me and stares at me. “Fine you can come, but don't let mum or dad see you.” He dips his head to me and starts to follow me again. “Why am I doing this?” I question myself.

I love writing! I recently wrote a 5 part story about a girl whose sister was kidnapped by an evil group that wanted to get her magic powers.

Hi, I'm in a total lack of ideas (GASP! :O) for one of my stories. It's called Outcast (I know, my friend told me there's a book in the Warriors series by the same title, IDC) and it's about the backstory of the king of the War Clan in that Bronze series I mentioned. Since I don't know what should happen next (this point of the story is super boring because I don't think 7-year-old life is too interesting), I decided to try and get ideas here, where there's like a million writers. Anyways, here's the plot so far:
- Chapter 1 (well, it goes by days, not chapters, so day 1) pretty much a normal day at school until there's an attack. The main character, Kanak, has emotion powers, which means he can sense others' emotions and also inflict emotions, so he kinda uses that to kill all the attackers. Yay.
- Day 2: Since Kanak was hurt in the attack/he lost his sword somehow/there's a dueling championship the next Friday, he goes looking for a new sword in the basement and stuff. boring i know
- Day 3: He's just complaining about a girl in his class named Lataysha who's copying his answers .-.
- Day 4: This is the dueling championship, and Lataysha cheats her way into first place and deliberately breaks Kanak's ankle because she's a pile of horse dung (insertlennyfacehere)
- Day 5: there's like this boring meeting to decide what to do with the championship since it wasn't fair
- Day 6: (Part 1) the teacher doesn't want interruptions but Kanak is trying to report Lataysha cheating and then he gets in trouble and all that nice stuff and he pretty much goes crazy (Part 2) Kanak and his sister Laureline have to go to someone's house for some reason and blah blah blah and he gets into an argument with a girl named Mina who's like “PONIEZPONIEZPONIEZ” all de time
- Day 7: Kanak gets a letter from Prince Parscalan (the prince of the War Clan at the time) saying that the king and queen are stalking him so they can use him as a weapon
I dunno what should happen next, but don't you think there should be more suspense?

LMAO… its honestly not that hard. I've got 450+ pages on a fanfic that started out as a playful little story to make my younger cousin happy, and I have a 100+ page one somewhere around as well. sweats

because
a) I'm bad at writing

yeah, but honestly, that's pretty impressive considering I've never written anything longer than three hundred pages or so.

Yes, I believe there is a way to protect your stories. I have a WP account, but as I haven't checked back for awhile, I'm not so sure how it works anymore, sorry xD
And yes – anyone can read your story once you publish it! If you're not willing to let people read your work, then you don't have to post the story.

So, overall, would you think Wattpad would be a great way to share a story you don't want to be clearly stolen from?

I'm also writing a novel, (one out of five ideas) I want to say what it's about but I don't want anybody to steal my idea. Okay, nevermind, it's about the four seasons and how they interact with each other 24/7. Autumn and Summer are my two favorites, when I write the book completely (I have the first chapter On paper and im writing the second page.) I will send you a link where you could reae it it possibly.

Heads up! Storybird is a money grabber, you write a few pages, whole chapter, or the entire book. And other people can buy it to download it to read it on an ebook and greedy Storybird takes the credit. And you don't get the money. And plus, to become an artist I believe takes Forever.

I honestly believe so. I've never really had any problem there, and I haven't heard too much about anyone else having lots of problems with this. Also, this might help! Not sure if this is what you're looking for haha,, but hopefully it can answer some of the questions that I can't. ^^'

I apologize if I've already posted this.

I wrote a novel called “Moonlight”, which was about a wolf named Moon being raised by a spirit wolf named Lone along with other animals. He had to fight back a demon wolf named Dust. In the book, animals are able to make contraptions and machines out of trash the humans dump out which is a pret cool thing. When my brother misorganized the draft, I totally abandoned the idea of publishing it.

Ever since I became a fan of Sonic, I wrote 2 shipfics, one about Silvee (Silver X Floee, my fan character) and another about Shadaze (Shadow X Blaze). They all dealt with spirits. I've never published them online.

Now, I'm currently writing a Sonic fan fiction, “The Missing Chao”, in which chapters are posted here on Scratch. You can read it here, although it's not finished. Thanks SilverAndKaylee15 for inspiring me to do so, although my artwork is horrible.
