I put Marshall on hiatus a week or two ago, but recently I've started to work on Marshall 4. I don't know when it will be released, but I do have a title screen and a few levels.

Main differences include a new platformer engine (by tustinthomsons), a new level system (counting by 1-A, 1-B, 1-C, etc.), and new music.

However, I don't really have a good plot in mind. I've thought of a couple, but none of them really seem fitting. The only one I might do is a lot like the first game: Marshall throws a party for his success but Hershel goes missing in it.

If anybody has any ideas, tell me, I might use them!

What's the plot of Marshall 3?

Could a ninja kidnap Hershel? Maybe your idea, but Hershel being kidnapped by the N.A.P. Ninjas Against Parties.

Story:

Marshall's grandfather forgot to bring nine jewels from Marshall's hometown . But a ninja steals them all and kidnaps Hershel from Marshall's hometown . Marshall has to recover the jewels and Hershel .

The world was partially destroyed by a mage. Only the jewels can save the world with their magic hidden inside them, but the mage hid them in 9 different worlds.

The alien captures Marshall and takes him to his underground secret base on his home planet. Marshall is tied up in his cell, but uses his shrinking powers to get free from the ropes. He has to go through 3 worlds to get home, they are the Alien's secret base, Outer Space (space debris acts as platforms) and on Marshall's home planet. The Alien has his henchmen patrolling the 3 worlds, and you need to avoid them.

Perfect idea: Marshal and his brother team up in the 2 player game and destroy the kidnappers once and for all. You can make so that they have to work together to get past the level.
