BYOB (build your own block) is a great way to make a job easier. So are sensing blocks. Along with control blocks. And hat blocks. BYOB has limits, though. It only creates blocks that do plain old actions. So I believe you should be able to make special types of blocks. For example:
This “if” command

if <(this) = [that]> then
    
end

Would become

when (this) = that
// Imagine there is a purple bracket here
end

I don't really understand the suggestion…

For example, do you see the thing you have for your signature? Kinda like that except it is a custom “if” block Like a control block. See here and go to the "control section: http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Control_Blocks

Oh. Well then scratch would have to add the "run " block like in BYOB (I was looking at BYOB earlier, although it's now called Snap). They also would have to add script inputs.

I know. I mean for this to be implemented some of the blocks in BYOB would also have to be implemented.
