So you think JJ doesn't know about the characters in his own movie?
Even the official SW website doesn't have Kylo Ren in the list of sith, nor does it have TFA in the list of movies with sith in them.
http://www.starwars.com/databank/sith

I'm tired of this, I'll just go on theforce.net where people acutally know something and aren't 10 year olds…

Jeez… Snoke is of course a sith or a force user cause here is why. First! in the movie Snoke senses that BB-8 is on the millennium flacon. Second! He is with the first order. They are bad! Kylo ren is with them he is on the dark dide so that means that snoke is a sith

Just because they use the dark side of the force does not mean someone is sith.

But thee dark side is the opisite of the light side and Snoke says he want's to destroy the resistance so let me end it like this…
say [Who Cares if Snoke is a sith! We will proboly find out in ep 8 or ep 9]

if <Snoke is a sith> then
He is a SITH!!!

Also A person who is like the emporer and is the new emporer of thebfirst order than he has to have the force because 1)If he was a non force user anyone would be able to defeat him!

Why do people consider MASSIVE SPOILER

HAN SOLO DIES KILLED BY HIS SON KYLO REN so funny? Luckily I was able to avoid, but it's become a meme, really.
I know, WHY Does he have to die!!!!!!!
I still think he is alive.
Proof: in both of the other two trilogies when luke and darth maul fell from a height they both survived and we all know that the force awakens is similar to other star wars movies.
This however is very unlikely.

No offence, but darth maul did not die. thats only in the clone wars.

Teaser trailer #1 for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is officially out!!
TBH, I'd rather have seen a Obi-Wan Kenobi spin-off. And the trailer doesn't look that good.
What? Really? Come on…nah! I mean sure, an Obi-Wan anthology film would be cool, but I'm quite excited for Rogue One, and tbh, I wasn't before I saw the trailer.

I'm really not a fan of all these spin-off anthology films though…honestly, though!! Obi-Wan…ok, sure, that's fine…Han Solo. Worst idea ever. The only way a Han Solo anthology film would be a good idea, would be if Harrison Ford was young again. No one else can play the role. Boba Fett anthology?? Horrible idea. Sure he's a cool character, and his armor's super epic, but the guy has what? 5 lines in the original movies. Why make a movie off of that? Anyways! Now i'm just going on about anthology films, haha, whoops!

Back to Rogue One. In all honestly, the first time I saw the trailer, I wasn't super impressed. But there's so many cool things about it that I now see. The AT-ATs? Awesomeness in a nutshell. I've also heard that Felicity Jones (who plays the main role on Jyn Ersa) has done a good job with past roles, so hopefully she'll do well with Rogue One. The Death Star. The Emperor. Darth Vader…maybe even Obi-Wan? And who's the guy in white? Tarkin, Thrawn? Now for me to mention my favourite thing about the trailer and Rogue One. The woman who plays Mon Mothma is a dead ringer for the woman who played her in Return of the Jedi. I am so blown away by how awesome she looks. Anyways!

In all honesty, I don't blame you for thinking that the trailer was lame, (so did I when I first same it) and I don't blame you for not looking forward to Rogue One. I wasn't looking forward to it either, not long ago. …and I still, personally think that Star Wars should just stick to making the sequel trilogy and not make 20 more filler films. I'm ok with Rogue One, but it'd be nice if Star Wars stopped trying to make ever Star Wars movie there ever could be in the next 10 years.

err, sorry didn't mean to say that. meant to say he DID die. And Han Solo (I'm sad to say it) is not coming back alive. Harrison Ford (Han Solo) has been wanting to leave the role since A New Hope came out. I guess Harrison Ford is happy now……. (but we're not!!)……..

Yeah the chance of him actually being alive is unlikely since for a start both luke and maul could use the force, unless…
Darth Han!

I feel weird about the scene where Han Solo dies.
I mean, it feels kind of sudden and unnecessary to put it in. But, that's just me.

“It is a marvel to exist outside the passage of fate. The lives created by Zanza and Meyneth inevitably attempt to escape the passage of fate. This signifies the beginning of their destruction. Meyneth accepted this, and entrusted the future of this world to you. Many times, your visions have allowed you to change the passage of fate. You saved the lives of those destined to die. Nothing that exists is perfect. It is a sad truth, but you can learn from it and begin the journey on a new path. Not Zanza's path, but one that you forged yourselves. So decide, Shulk. Will you walk the path layed out by Zanza? Or will you walk a new path?” - Alvis (Xenoblade Chronicles)

It's definitely not Tarkin, his outfit is nearly the same from TCW as ANH. In Tarkin by James Luceno he also stated that “he just wants something that fits.” Capes have no functional purpose, so I highly doubt he would wear one.
Thrawn is from a completely different era.

Brendol Hux would be somewhat plausible and an interesting tie-in with the ST without being too direct, but I have a feeling Mendelsohn is playing a new character.
