Project saves and overwrites without asking me to do so..

I was working on an existing project that I already know works to my satisfaction.
I was tinkering with the project and accidently changed a script on one of my sprites.
I noticed that the screen refreshed and I saw a message “project saved”.
But I didn't want this to happen.
I didn't want to save it at that point.
Now the project is changed in some subtle way, but since I made an errant keystroke,
and I can't find the simple change that I made, I don't know if the project works in the same way anymore.
There was no “Save As” option when it indicated it was saving. It appeared to just overwrite my
program without and prompting. This seems fraught with uncertainty.
Hopefully this isn't too complicated a description of the problem.

I don't really like the new auto-save function either. I think the user should be able to turn auto-save on/off.
