Need help with some blocks!
I'd like some explanation of what the blocks below do and some examples of what they can be used for

(() mod ())
([abs v] of (9))
([ceiling v] of (9))
([sin v] of (9))
([cos v] of (9))
([tan v] of (9))
([asin v] of (9))
([acos v] of (9))
([atan v] of (9))
([abs v] of (9))
([ln v] of (9))
([log v] of (9))
([e^ v] of (9))

mod:
I figured this one out yesterday!
It takes number1 and continuously subtracts it by number2 until it gets below number2.
Not sure of any uses…
abs: If the number is negative, turns it positive. (Uses should be obvious)
ceiling: Rounds up. (Really, you can't find a use?)
log: 0.1^. (If you want to do your own ^x, you need to use this along with the 10^)

1. Modulo operator. Gives the remainder of the division, so 5 mod 2 is 1, 4 mod 3 is 1. Helps with grid-locking.
2. Absolute value. Turns the number positive. Good for trig, I guess.
3. Ceiling. Rounds up to whole number. Tycoon-style games.
4. Sine. Opposite side divided by adjacent side; trigonometry.
5/6. Cosine/tangent. More trig definitions. I advise you to Google them.
7/8/9. Inverse trig. Same as above. All these trig definitions are good for 3D and general life.
10. you already asked that
11. Natural logarithm. log base e of x. Finances.
12. Logarithm. Log base 10 of X. if x is 10, it outputs 1. If X is 100, outputs 2. I advise you go on khanacademy.org and search for logarithms, it really helps. 3D, I believe, and just for fun (but that's just me xD)
13. e^x. E to the power of X. e ~= 2.71. Finances.

Thanks for the help! I didn't know mod was short for modulo xD What's the difference between floor, ceiling and round?

Need help with some blocks!
Thanks for the help! I didn't know mod was short for modulo xD What's the difference between floor, ceiling and round?Round just rounds as we're used to. So 14.4 goes to 14, and so on.
Meanwhile, ceiling rounds a number up. For example, 14 noes becomes 15, and 13.0000000001 becomes 14.
Also, floor does almost the same thing as ceiling, but downwards. So 14 becomes 14, and 13.99999999999 becomes 13.
If you haven't noticed, the names reflect what they do. Ceiling rounds up, or to the ceiling, and floor rounds down, or to the floor. I find that nice.
Explaining,
ErnieParke
