Ever since I saw @NoxSpooth 's Comment Simulators, I have been wondering how he put the comments in there. I would like to know exactly how you do this, because I would like to make a comment simulator, like @NoxSpooth did.

No, I mean comments that you can tell people under scratch projects. Watch the comment simulator to see what I mean: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/10579282/

Just take a screenshot, crop out everything but the comment, save the image, and upload it to Scratch. They're just costumes, I believe. You can use PrtScr and then Ctrl-V with the keyboard, Snipping Tool for Windows PCs, or shift-command-4 and then spacebar for Macs.

Ninkancho is correct, though my preferred method is the Snipping Tool.

One more thing, if the comment is too big to fit on the stage (480x360), it will have its quality severely downgraded. You may have to change the comment's dimensions with an external software (paint.NET, for example) in order to keep the quality.

How do you take a screenshot in Windows 10 though?

Type “Snipping Tool” into the start menu and it should be there :)
