Profile Picture Properties

What format properties are required for a profile picture? (compression (jpeg, etc), size (# pixels), etc.) I get a lengthy coding error message every time I try to set it.

I'm not sure about the size, but I've been able to use png, jpeg, and gifs. I haven't tested it with anything else.

I have tried jpeg, gif, png. All throw nasty error messages. Maybe this is a recently introduced bug?

It's possible that there's a size limit, but it could be a bug.

OK, profile picture problem fixed. I was able to load it immediately with Google Chrome. The bug is in MS Internet Explorer that I was using before.
