Panning with Sound or Stereo Sound
Only because the settings aren't on there does not mean that you cannot play or pan sounds to a speaker. I have seen many other Flash games out there that have stereo or panning sound. You would not have to manage your speakers and that they can be managed within the Control Panel or System Preferences (Mac).Flash Player can only manage the Camera and Microphone within its settings. So, the blocks you're suggesting aren´t possible.
Greets.

Confusing, maybe not. But besides 3D games (which few people are good at), how would a sound panning block be useful?
No support. Most people wouldn't really need this.

The first three blocks (Play on speaker, Play on speaker until done, and set volume on speaker) are simple to understand and decently useful. The fourth block, I'm not certain on. It would be useful to have, but it's somewhat ambiguous. (How long does it take?)
Another ambiguity is how those without stereo have the blocks handled. I'm guessing the first two blocks are equivalent to the normal sound blocks they're like, and the third one is half the volume change?

If you only have one speaker, it should automatically play on the one speaker.
and the third one is half the volume change?
I was thinking that would be pretty unstable as well since stereo sound is basically reducing volume for a certain speaker.

It would only be for one sound. As for how long it would take, it shouldn't take too long. I can see if I can pull these blocks off by making a Scratch extension to test it.

SupportLucky you, this feature is being implemented with sound effects in Scratch 3.0, along with more sound effects. It's the “pan left/right” effect, and a negative value (up to -100) makes it on the left speaker, and a positive value (up to 100) makes it on the right.

As WolfCat67 has said, this feature is already in development and won't be going away anytime soon.
