I'd love to have a live stream feature on Scratch! Anybody with me?

How would this work? What's the point?

NO SUPPORT, twitch/youtube is for this.

No support because that would end up being a chat room, and those are against the Terms of Use. (And live streaming with no chat is no fun!)

There's no way to moderate them, either - what's preventing someone from showing content not appropriate for Scratch on them? If 100 people are live streaming at the same time, there's no way the Scratch Team could watch all 100 at the same time D:

Cool idea, but as others have said websites like twitch.tv are a lot better for this kind of thing.

No support. Go to youtube or something.

Scratch would be great if it could do everything, but unfortunately we need to draw the line on what's necessary and live-streaming isn't. There are other places better suited and much more developed for live-streaming, but beware that the chatlogs are much less restrictive than Scratch.

As @scratchisthebest clearly pointed out, the ST doesn't have the manpower to monitor every stream (and if they could that would be 1984-esque creepy).

I agree; we have Twitch/YouTube/Steam anyways
