Just to let you know, if you want to get serious about this (ie; actually want to have an editor one day), you need to know that an editor will not touch your work if it doesn't follow ‘all those capitalization rules’. Yes - it is an editors job to fix up errors and tighten your story. But you have to see that editors go through many, many manuscripts each day - they will only pick the most professional looking. First impression is key. So, the mindset of ‘I’ll leave it for the editor' will get you nowhere.
I'm curious now, how serious are you about eventually getting published?
