I have a Scratch 2.0 (.sb2) project file of size 120 KB that just doesn't want to upload. When I try to save it it uploads everything then just gets stuck on this:



…and eventually just gives me a network error in the top right.

Not sure why this is happening, please help!

Your file size is impossibly small.
i think you mean 120mb
which is wayyyyy over the limit

please upload the .sb2 file to a file sharing site (Dropbox, sendspace, etc…) so that we can try on different internet connections and check the format.

It's kinda strange it manages to work in the player

I'm having the same problem, though with a regular sized project. I made a topic here http://beta.scratch.mit.edu/forums/topic/3450/?page=1#post-18650 though it might be unecessary now.

Anyway, in addition to the problem youre talking about, I can't/couldn't save the project that I was working on originally, which lead me to download the file, which lead to me not being able to save the downloaded file either. I hope they fix this soon

This bug is really starting to worry me, now I can save the old project that isn't up to date what I'm working on, but I can't save the downloaded file that is the latest version and that the editor reccomended me to download if I couldn't save it online…
I don't want to through all that bugfixing again! Please ST, reply or something

I dunno, I don't want to bug them or anything :I I won't be able to work with scratch until this bug is fixed though, I can't rely on it not loosing my progress

Hiya! Well let's take a look at this one. Can anyone reduce this down to the elements that cause the failure? That'd be a huuuge help - otherwise we have to spend a lot of time trying to make the failure happen here consistently, which is the first step to fixing it.

Okay, so for me my project just started to refuse to save, so I downloaded the save file. Now the original file that isnt downloaded can be saved, though the downloaded file doesnt save when uploaded :I It keeps trying to save and then it says “Failed to save; Connection or server failure” or something along those lines.
Also the file size doesn't seem to matter, the file first mentioned was very small but the size of the file I'm trying to save is about 5 MB, which is pretty normal
