Here are suggestions to make Scratch more improved:
1. Use .wmas and other sounds you can't use in Scratch.
2. Use sounds from backpack and don't let them bounce back to the backpack.

1. No, because then Scratch has to have compilers and encoders for all types of sounds, and that will greatly increase the file size of the Scratch program. You can use iTunes or another external program for changing the type to .mp3 or .wav.
