Project Ideas

This is a list of twenty project ideas for those who wish to develop them further.

Section 1: One-Player Games

1. A parkour/multiple-choice game which involves you making decisions to choose what ending you will have.
2. A parkour game without instructions; each level focuses on you learning a new ability by trial and error.
3. A parkour game where you are constantly jumping.
4. A parkour game where you are constantly running.
5. A scrolling parkour game where the screen constantly scrolls down and you must keep from reaching the top by dropping through gaps in platforms.
6. A scrolling parkour game where the screen constantly scrolls up and you must keep from reaching the bottom by jumping through gaps in platforms.
7. A game in which you combine elements to create the correct combination with a time limit.
8. A game where you click something constantly.
9. A game in which you move in time with another “ghost” character's movements ahead of you; the closer you are to his actions, the higher your score.
10. A game in which you constantly fall.

Section 2: Two-Player Games

1. A game in which two players compete to see how can finish parkour faster.
2. A game in which you make the other player's movements.
3. A game in which you are constantly trying to fill up your own bar/health/whatever you want while trying to deplete the other player's.
4. A battle game with both players against each other, but there is a three-second delay before each weapon fires.
5. A coding game…?

Section 3: Community Projects

1. A project celebrating a holiday.
2. A project about Scratch.
3. A project to introduce others to Scratch and explain how it works.
4. A music project for others to use in their games.
5. A guide about creating games.
