Has the 10MB project limit been changed?
10 MB is awfully limiting and prevents one from making full length games. Will 2.0 remove this limit?

using cloning it is very easy to make full length projects, that being said i think they will raise or remove the limit

Has the 10MB project limit been changed?
I just really really long blocks of code and over 100 DIFFERENT sprites. Hopefully they do remove the limit because cloning is not going to solve my problems. I've abstracted everything as much as I could already.

I think you can edit and make projects online that are greater than 10MB but i am not sure about uploading

Has the 10MB project limit been changed?
I think the limit is 50MB total per project and 10MB per asset (image, sound).

50 is pretty generous.

Whoa. Only 50? That may eventually cut it close for my project. I suspect that after all the sprites are loaded and then all the music (each music file is 3-5 MB) I will be bumping up pretty close to the limit. 100-200 MB seems like a better buffer to me. I wonder why the caps are so low. It's not like a lot of people will be building huge projects and overwhelming the server. But for the minority building large projects, the removal or substantial increase of the cap would help greatly.

I wonder if the project will still have this size in the new format.I think the limit is 50MB total per project and 10MB per asset (image, sound).

Anyway, how long are your music files? You should be able to compress some of it.

The 10MB limit is for a reason guys.
If someone has a really slow computer, the 10MB limit is really helpful, because their computer doesn't have to load 10MB of data on their internet.

The 10MB limit is for a reason guys.Yeah, even with the limit some projects freeze my computer and I have to to force quit safari.

My computer is literally 8 years old though.

Has the 10MB project limit been changed?
Well, I tried uploading a 134MB song into a Scratch project a while ago. If you have to know, it's a mix of all the songs from 4x4=12. Scratch didn't complain and tried to convert it all. I stopped it because I had to go somewhere else.

Has the 10MB project limit been changed?
I don't think the limit is 10MB anymore. However I can't confirm that since I'm almost completely a 1.4 scratcher (not completely) However I still know how to use 2.0, and will be using it once the download version comes out. I wish it were 50, but I can't continue to wish. I don't think I'll be able to upload my new project @ 48.4MB (No joke). It's just a really large animation called “Legend of the Spirits-Dot's Adventure 5-The Villain 12” (Legend of the Spirits-DA5 (Origin)-V12). Once I export this 1.4 project into 2.0, then I can say if the limit is 50 and confirm it or not. However I can not confirm it if the limit is actually 47. That would be good, but not able to fit a 48MB project. So I will confirm it soon if 2.0 handles up to 50MB or not, as soon as possible. BTW, I agree with Zygorithm. It's extremely true, not doubt.

it's 50MB in 2.0. Was 10MB in 1.4.
Will probably be 100MB in like, 2.5 or 3.0.
