"Experimental Project" Feature?
Sometimes I like to experiment in Scratch with all it's awesome features. But something that is starting to annoy me is the fact that every time I do this, the project auto-saves. Eventually, “My Stuff” got clogged up with “untitled-_”s. I know we can delete them, but even so I think there should be a feature so that they don't save in the first place. What I'm thinking is a checkbox beside the “share” button called “Experimental Project”. This would disable autosaving, but the save button would still be available.

i agree with both of you. Sometimes I like to experiment in Scratch with all it's awesome features. yea, that does get annoying I agree. If only they would add options and then there's no more problem right?

I think it should be an option in the file menu whether or not to autosave. By default it would be on, but people can turn it off if they want.

I think a better idea is to only turn autosave on after the user clicks save for the first time. I think it should be an option in the file menu whether or not to autosave. By default it would be on, but people can turn it off if they want.

+1. I have suggested this a couple times. Maybe fodder for account settings?
Thanks for the ride, Scratch Team and community! Unfortunately, the time has come for me to move on from Scratch, so I'll no longer be using the forums. Thanks again, and farewell!
