Flint and steel has been disabled to prevent griefing, but you can use a dispenser to “fire” a flint and steel at it.

TNT doesn't explode either

EDIT: As in break blocks

@Northmeister–so can I reference that post if I get in trouble with a mod?

Although it is nice that Creepers won't grief me.

@Quillz - no, it hasn't been down since I reatarted it to install Paintball a week ago.

@Fire That's the problem with minecart travel on Minecraft - I don't think there's a way to prevent people getting out of carts at wrong places and such.

Also, only 2 more players until 3500!
Would it be fine to put lava around the minecart, thus forcing them to not get out?
Good idea!

Voting for the admin elections is now open: http://tiki-craft.webs.com/admin-elections

The two candidates are CoolScrawl and GraviPy. More information in the above link.

Before the end of the year, there will be another admin election (open to all current moderators (providing they satisfy certain requirements)), and then early next year there will be another moderator election (these dates aren't confirmed).

North comes back from a holiday on Thursday. The server should be updated by Friday.

Gravi, answers for me?

I'm using tiki-craft.publicvm.com, if that makes a difference.

The server isn't (and wasn't) down for me, and the nslookup for that IP works fine. Try nslookup'ing that and using the numbered IP.

I would do that but I have no idea how.

I haven't changed the IP in a month, could affect something?

Try pinging the IP from the command prompt.

Have you tried tiki-craft.publicvm.com? That's the one that should be used and is the most supported - sometimes the number IP doesn't work.
