If you are talking about the New Scratcher's projects, I think I understand. If you think it doesn't, I'd be happy to switch to no support. How does that relate?I know, I just feel scratch's social media aspect is meant to be at least somewhat project-related.This is to welcome scratchers to scratch, not look at new scratcher's projects.I dunno, since the social media part of scratch is mainly just to give constructive feedback and help on projects, I think that the “explore” tab fullfills the needs, since it is In my opinion mostly filled with projects you would probably only rarely see in the “top loved” section, and seem like beginner projects at most to me. (I don't mean to offend anyone's skill with this) However, I do think it would be a slight improvment(just not high priority), so only semi-support.semi-support.Any reason why?

Let's use:How about a system that picks 5-10 random users that joined in the last 24 hours. The users would be different every time you reload though.BUT 10-20 instead of 5-10.
That's the best way to get the most users shown probably.
support
No support- none of them would have any projects- they would probably just be empty
I think that we would be welcoming!

The one issue is that I think people join the site so quickly that nobody would be there for more than a few minutes.Which means that their are quit a few people to welcome them.

No support because most of the users projects will be empty. Also, they can already be welcomed on the New Scratchers forum.

Support. Can you give me a link to the most recently joined scratchers?

No support. What's the point. There's no reason to care who joined recently unless you're going to welcome them to Scratch or something.

Support! This would really help! Those New Scratchers who's parents constantly tell them about internet dangers … really need some welcoming.

No support.
What if a person joined Scratch, and started posting inappropriate material? They would get promoted in the “New Scratchers” section, and more people would get exposed to the inappropriate content.

Not all newly joined users would like to be welcomed to Scratch. Although, maybe one could work around this by turning off profile comments?
