How fast do you type?

Well, before school starts, my goal is to get the 100 WPM. It's a tough goal, but I think I might make it.

I'm probably an average of 70-80wpm but when I've just woken up or I'm sleepy or something, I'm like 50wpm.

Me too. Everyone in the class does hunt and peck. (not using all fingers) The teacher is the only one who doesn't, and if we did a TypeRacer race, we would put up a pretty good struggle.

I can type something like 45 WPM, if I'm copying something. Without that, I'm something like 55 WPM.

However, with most typing tests, you have to copy something, meaning that if you type it over and over, you will eventually type at a ridiculously fast speed… but only with that.

My dad does hunt and peck - it once took him five seconds to find the letter “f”.

Some test said that I tyype at 74 WPM. I'm typing atr super speed whthgiyt backpsacing as of typing this reply. See the errors? I gues they're pretyty obvious.

I have mid-60's WPM, but the funny thing is that when I am thinking my WPM is still in the 50's.

First - if the computer is actually accurate at all when it converts your speech to text, voice recognition has gotten better since I last checked.

Second - how do you write text-based code with that?

i just took a test and i got 50 ^^" i was typing in all lowercase though which deducted a few points but i think that's good ?

I get about 83-90 words per minute. I typically use eight fingers for letters, etc., and then the thumbs for lower things like the spacebar.

For tablets, I'd say I have about 60-70? I use only my thumbs for typing. If I'm kinda tired, then I use the swipe features.
