YesYay! But you will need more than just the Pi My dad is going to buy me a Raspberry Pi 2 B today!
They claim it is 35 bucks
But you must buy a power supply, sd card, HDMI cable, or if you don't have a monitor that supports HDMI then you will need to add on VGA or whatever thing you're using to HDMI converter, and to add to that if you don't have a monitor then you'll need to buy a monitor, and maybe add on some wifi adapters and Ethernet cables, and might as well add on a starter Pi kit…
They claim its only $35, but in the end it's $1000

I was able to find most of my materials in my basement
Plus, if you get an educational bundle it comes with pretty much everything for 100$ or so, complete with NOOBS and everything

Except for most of us it's really not that bad. I've got loads of SD cards kicking around because every time anyone in the house gets a new phone they end up with a spare SD card. The power supply is a standard phone charger in vaguely the right amperage range (again, I've got about six spare in the house from people upgrading their phones over the last five years). The HDMI cable I grant you. They're cheap to get though and there's probably one in the house connecting something to the TV already.YesYay! WiFi adapters are about $2 online. Lots of us have spare ethernet cables cluttering up the house because they've been bundled with things (like old routers) over the years.
For me the annoying thing is a powered USB hub and spare keyboards. I don't keep many of those around!

Flamekebab is completey right. As I said before, you can always check around your house for spare stuff! I was able to find all the expensive stuff in my basement, and you can always connect the Pi to a TV instead of buying a new monitor. Except for most of us it's really not that bad. I have the NOOBS version 2.
There was an old topic in the connecting to the world, but this will work here to say what you are doing with your raspberry pi! also say this information if you want
Pi version: (rpi 2, zero, etc)
Pis you have: (how many do you have)
what you are doing with them
for me:
Both RPI 2
2 RPIs
both running web servers (1 is now, just got the new one)

Yeah XD I found most of the stuff around my house. That was mostly sarcasm, you should be able to find at least one SD card, and if you can't, you could try and do some stuff to run an OS from a usb drive.Flamekebab is completey right. Everything's actually relatively cheap, as long as you buy the stuff from online.
