I got a odd little UCB (Universal Cereal Bus) little for staying up at night on the computer. (I don't actually do that.

Also although not AT/Computers related I also got a sweet Zone “Goalie Mask” (Icon 1.8) , A Salming goalie apparel top and some Salming loot. (If you play Floorball, Yeah! Thumbs up!)

I got a Raspberry Pi and an mBot. The latter isn't really advanced but it's Scratch mod is a lot of fun. A shame it can't connect to the robot itself on Linux

I've been moderately impressed with it so far – coming from a first gen Moto X (my first phone; over two years old now, with all sorts of cracks down the sides and assorted bangs and bruises) it was not as much a step up or down as a step sideways - though I reeeeally miss NFC and the super kick-butt AMOLED display. I'm (slightly surprised?) excited that it's still got Active Display although it's a bit weird with the LCD screen as it's got to turn the whole thing on as opposed to how it was with the oled. Also, the lack of rotation sensor means that cardboard things are no go :(

Besides that, it's awesome – it's a bit bigger, the battery is much (much!) better, there's finally an SD card slot, LOLLIPOP!!! (though the first x on republic will finally get lollipop late january). Also, it has FM radio, which I always missed on the Moto X. :package:

I got a new computer that required some assembly. And yes, it has Windows 7. :package:

Note to everyone: never get a Giga-byte motherboard. My mouse was broken until I ran the program that came with my motherboard, and it installed all sorts of bloatware. It had options to disable some of it, of course, but it was impossible to know really what was actually required. I am going to have to uninstall all that stuff at somepoint.

Yeah, it's really weird when Windows thinks your USB mouse is a PS/2 mouse. The scrolling was broken, and then also it didn't work in TF2 - instead of moving the camera, like a mouse should in a first person shooter, it sort of made my guy move around sort of ????

Anyways, the computer works now and it is pretty cool. It has all the fancy parts (sort of) because I'm spoiled or something. However, I'm using my brother's keyboard and monitor because I didn't get those. :package:
