LS Inc. (Le Scratchers Incorporated) -- CALLING ALL SCRATCHERS, BE PART OF A REVOLUTION ---
I analyzed the gameplay (http://youtu.be/DC-CHd0a9P4 was mine) and the thing is, there are 2 things hard to implement on Scratch.
1. Sliding down slopes?
2. The clones and particles stop when you stop.
3. Strange physics
That does sound hard… And what do you mean by strange physics??- Zaneki

The design is good, but it's also huge, and there aren't nearly enough frames to base a runcycle off of. :PIsn't the art team… the same as the animation team? There technically is no art division; I assumed that it was part of animations :SWouldn't walk cycles be part of the animation division?OKAY! WE ARE STILL MISSING 4, BUT I WILL EXPLAIN THE PROJECT IN DETAIL.
THe game will be a puzzle platformer about life. Memories. The past. And the future.
The past is always part of you. But you have to step out of its way and outrun it to move on.
This first game requires A LOT of skill in cloning, variables, and physics (sort of).

Let me first explain it to you.
You are the blue guy.
Clones (blue dots) follow you as you move.
Your movement charges the door to exit. only when it is charged can you progress.
As you move, however,the door you leave out of charges, and every so often (movement wise) releases a clone of YOU. A few dots in front of it specifies its movement path, and you have to avoid it, or else you start over.
The game will be dedicated to skruff because of what he had to go through in HIS past.
The game will be a big project, but it will turn out great. Cheers.
For now, I need a walking and running animation like the guy in the game. Who can do that?
Cool! That game is fun. and challenging! As will the assignment. I'll get started on a walk-cycle!
Well. Yeah. I guess.I've practically finished rough character art, maybe the art team could pick it up from there, and then the animation team, then back to the simulation team, game team, and math team, who could all work together on various scripting???
And aren't you in Simulations?
Yeah. I was bored… Nobody has to use it. I just thought I''d contribute. All it is is a frame of him standing still, and a frame of him in midair. They're pretty rough. The color isn't perfect, it's kinda blocky, the shapes are blobby(ish). There's definitely still lotsa work for the art team. They get to design the levels, make the finished characters, the game logo, etc. Here it is: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/13405088/
The hugeness is easy to fix, but the runcycle will be a bit trickier. Plus, we don't even know what angle the game is being viewed from.
@ LeScratcher, any thoughts? Birds-eye, side-scroller, first person, etcetera?

I played it, and I kinda suck, but I got far enough and all the important details of the gameplay style are in there.

But side scroller, okay. I'm going to have a look at mattsgames' runcycle and see what we have to work with.
