Here's the problem, though. A lot of members are apathetic about the whole ranking system, myself included. I think a better idea would be to give warnings, and if a person got three or more warnings, they are booted from the collab. And they can have their number of warnings decreased / reset after a week or two of appropriate behavior.Followed the studio, and commented on the forum thread. :P

We understand, in fact, I was thinking that we should create a different way of communication between members, so only members can talk/post. I am currently creating another forum on proboards.comFollowed the studio, and commented on the forum thread. :P

that may be true, but for people like me at least, rankings are a lot funner than warnings, and scratch is supposed to make things fun right? Here's the problem, though. Eh…apathetic. It is a warning system. Many people can't take another warning before the ranking hits 0 and they are kicked. Also, I beg to differ. People are asking to curate the studio, share the account, etc. If your ranking is under 10 when a project is released, you won't be anywhere in the credits. :3

From now on. STOP with the unnecessary comments. For those of you wanting to gain ranking, and everyone else, reply to this comment if you followed this thread (and @LS_Inc, an the official studio) so I know you are ready to get things started. Otherwise, your ranking may fall. If you haven't, follow it, then comment. If you have commented, check to see if your name has a ‘13 more confirmations…’ next to it in the rankings section of the first post.Otherwise, comment again. I WILL NOT begin until everyone has commented with confirmation.

They may be more fun, but they're ineffective. Even if it seems a bit stringent, I think having a three-strikes system would get and keep everyone in shape. When the novelty of “points” wears off, no one will care about what they post anymore.that may be true, but for people like me at least, rankings are a lot funner than warnings, and scratch is supposed to make things fun right? Here's the problem, though. Plus, there are a lot of younger kids in this collab, and when one person starts spamming, it tends to snowball out of control.

he already has a three strike your out approach, but spam is kindof like a foul, to get a “strike” your ranking has to go below zero. so i'm not even sure if that would work, but if things get too out of hand, it might be worth trying. They may be more fun, but they're ineffective. Even if it seems a bit stringent, I think having a three-strikes system would get and keep everyone in shape. It's technically plagiarism / theft if you don't credit someone. Even if one has spammed, it's a natural right to be credited for one's work.

well you don't want to credit people who did nothing but join the collab, it isn't that hard to keep your rank above ten if you are able do to things (e.g. not on vacation) so i think it's a good idea.…Was about to say. They may be more fun, but they're ineffective. I'd assumed that those who received credit were the ones who actually worked on the project. Whether or not they're a member of the collab is out of the question. If they did work in a project, they will be credited.well you don't want to credit people who did nothing but join the collab, it isn't that hard to keep your rank above ten if you are able do to things (e.g. not on vacation) so i think it's a good idea.…Was about to say. They may be more fun, but they're ineffective.
