Train Video Series: Cast and Crew needed!
I'm creating a train series for YouTube!
This is going to be a bit like Thomas the Tank Engine, but instead of models or animation, I will be using Brio trains. For those of you who don't know, Brio trains are little wooden trains that run on wooden tracks. I used to be a big fan when I was younger, so now we have an excessive collection of these things. Here is a picture of one of the trains:

As you can probably tell from the pictures, I have added a face to him. (That would be his “working hard” face.) He has lots of faces, and I will make just as many for the other engines too. Also, you may have noticed the background. I have both a blue sky and a grey, stormy background. Here is the set with the stormy background:

That is enough background information for now. Here's what I need help with:
Music I need some good theme music for this series. I would like one main theme, along with different themes for the engines and scenarios. These would include runaway trains, danger, and excitement. You can record live music (Recommendation: Piano), or you can create something in GarageBand or a similar program. Please tell me how you made it when you post it.
Sound Effects I would also need some train sound effects. I need at least three different types of whistles for the trains. I also need some general train sounds. These include steam releases, brakes, chuffs, clickity-clacks, and of course, door slams. If you know of a website where I can get some of these sounds for FREE and without getting nailed by copyright violations, please tell me.
Voices Perhaps the most important of all! I am awful at voice acting, and I need the main way to get the message across with a bunch of trains is through narration. So… I need a narrator! The narrator should be fluent and should be able to demonstrate different expressions (excitement, sadness, etc.). If anyone wants too, we can have each character voiced individually too. They have the same requirements as the narrator.
Writers Another important part. Every good show has a good story line. Watch some TV if you don't believe me. A good writer is nice to have for this. BUT, they don't have to write scripts. If you submit a good train story that's not in script form, I will convert it, but you will still receive the credit for writing it. Here are a few points for writers:
-As of now, I only have one set (It's the one above), but I can make more
-There are three engines right now: Tommy, Steve, and George. Here they are, in order:

-The stories should be around 4 to 6 minutes long
Hopefully there are some talented Scratchers out there who would like to help out! Now, for the “fine print!”
*Every episode will be submitted to YouTube. If you don't want your real name OR your Scratch name to show up, don't participate. As I said, you could use either of them.
*Please don't copy and/or plagiarize. It's not nice, plus it's illegal. This goes for music/FX too.
*If you don't like someone's submission, DO NOT BE MEAN! Constructive criticism is ok, but you don't have to be a jerk.
Now that that's been said, if you have any suggestions, comments, or complaints, please state them below! Thank you!

Train Video Series: Cast and Crew needed!
hmm let me see, I should help someone for once…
Music: nope
Sound Effects: my mic is too horrible to record sound effects
Writers: no… NO
*drum roll*
Voices: Now this I can do (if you're fine with having to occasionally put it in Audacity or something and use noise removal)
Just give me some sort of sample of a voice and I can see if I can do it.
Don't worry, I've had experience.
Oh also, the best thing to say in a voice to see if I can do it is “Slow, Scared, Excited, Fast(if excited isn't fast) Happy, Sad, Normal”, saying them all in what the word is. Even if you sound horrible doing that, I can get an idea of what it should sound like.

That should be fine, as long as the noise removal doesn't make your voice sound ridiculous. If you use it for one part, then you should probably use it for the rest so that all the clips sound the same. I have part of a test script written, so here are a couple lines from it: hmm let me see, I should help someone for once…

Scene 1
George is seen doing various jobs. Happy
Narrator: George is a steam engine. He lives on Hara Island. George thinks that he is the most useful engine, so he often becomes boastful.
Scene 2
George is in the shed. Happy
Narrator: One day, George was resting happily in the sheds when Tommy bustled in.
Tommy hurries in and stops just before turntable. Sad
Tommy: Driver says that it will be stormy tonight. You had better be careful.
Close-up of George. Angry
George: Rubbish!
Narrator: Said George.
George: It won’t be stormy. Besides, storms don’t bother me.
George moves out of the shed and on to the turntable. Angry
Narrator: And he puffed off angrily to collect his train.
It's not necessary to record everything in one big clip. If you want to, that's fine, but I think it would be easier to break it up so you can keep the voices strait.

By sample, I meant an actual audio clip so I know what to sound like, but I'm fine with this. Oops. Sorry about that. I really don't have any particular choices of what they should sound like, just that it's not too plain. I guess you could watch some of the OLD Thomas and Friends shows to get an idea, since that's what I'm basing this off of. By old I mean ones narrated by Ringo Starr, George Carlin, or even Alec Baldwin. By sample, I meant an actual audio clip so I know what to sound like, but I'm fine with this. I'll record it now.

I can't get my voice that deep, but I think my natural voice actually sounds like them except for the pitch. (I searched up some samples on YouTube)Oops. Sorry about that. I didn't mean that. I just meant to use the same style of that they did, as in using different pitches and accents for the characters. Just make sure to keep them all strait!I can't get my voice that deep, but I think my natural voice actually sounds like them except for the pitch. (I searched up some samples on YouTube)Oops. My voice is not that deep.
If it needs to be deep, I can edit it, but hopefully I don't need to since Audacity usually takes forever to do anything.

I feel that the pitch doesn't matter as long as it's somewhat consistent.I was asking whether you (or anyone else reading) felt that the pitch of it was appropriate for the project.Deep as in low pitch. Is that a good thing..? :O that is deep.
On another note, in the credits, put just my Scratch name.

Wow! Those are both great! (Not joking here) I only have one problem with Flamekebab's recording… I can't download it! Or so I think… I think I will use a mixture of both of your recordings in the final project. Now… to finish the script!

Yep, that's my normal speaking voice. I imagine that's really your accent, right? Seeing as though your are from the UK…
If it's of any use to you, let me know.
Side note for anyone interested:
Strangely my accent isn't actually from any area I've lived in. It's from the south of England but beyond that I'm unsure of where. It has remained unchanged despite being schooled in Wales and going to university in Scotland.
