Sprite behavior with/without cortume
Hi all,
I'm working on a space game, so the ennemies are chassing you. And I just noticed that, with a costume (I drawn a red arrow to see the direction pointed by ennemies) the sprite do exactly what I programmed it to do. But, if I remove the costume (without touching anything in the code), then the movements become laggy and shake.
Have you ever experienced something similar ? How can I solve it ?
Thank you

Unfortunately no. I don't want to share it before it is (almost) over.

I shared a test version of my project. So you can try to repeat the bug. It occurs with the sprite named : gps_ennemy1

I think you need to explain how to recreate the problem.
BTW you've chosen very odd keys for moving. what was wrong with wasd or arrows?

QZSD are common in France with AZERTY keybords.
Anyway to recreate the problem, clic green flag > new game > hit key M > select pirate station attack > and go to the station. An annemis will pop so you can try to see the difference with/without costume on sprite gps_ennemy1.

Ah, hadn't noticed your location. I can't recreate the problem. The sprite only has one costume and you cannot delete it but I did erase the dot so that the costume was effectively empty and didn't notice a difference.

The bug only occurs when there is no costume at all. I “solved” the problem with a little black dot so it is not noticed.
But that is weird.
