A year ago I found Game Maker.

Now, I am using this to make games for everyone, and Im using my forums for people to report glitches.

There is one problem-
I'm a beginner at Game Maker, can someone help me? Thanks.

Game Maker is like Scratch, but more advanced, and you can save and load your game, and you can save it as an .EXE file.

…And if you don't want an annoying watermark over your compiled games, you have to buy the full version.

Advice:
Don't get stuck using GameMaker. GameMaker is a sad excuse for game creating software that could be a lot better. I suggest trying out Stencyl (it too is not perfect) before committing to GameMaker.

I've used both Stencyl and GameMaker and I feel Stencyl is a lot better than GameMaker. The support for Stencyl is a lot better than at GameMaker. I feel that you are looked down upon on the GameMaker forums if you are a beginner at GameMaker, but not at Stencyl. Also, Stencyl is in many ways like Scratch (especially with all of the blocks and such), but much better and powerful.

GameMaker is so bad I had to interrupt my watching of MLP to Google alternatives to GameMaker.

EDIT: If you can get the full version of GameMaker it is a bit better in the fact that you can actually use code instead of being limited by the blocks.

ENIGMA Development Environment it looks and acts exactly the same as GameMaker but it's free. Tell them that.

You are probably against Game Maker.

Stencyl is indeed similar to Scratch in some ways. Beware though as it is also very different and it's goals are as well.
