Somebody should make a Pointer Lock API extension

I can't seem to get pointer lock working (on FF) but it sounds pretty cool and I tried the demo. You guys should make a Pointer Lock API extension!

I know you can lock the mouse on Chrome, so this sounds pretty cool when someone achieves it.
