Neither of my parents really care what I watch, as long as it doesn't have cursing left and right. I have openly watched Hetalia with my mom in the room and she didn't mind it.

lying to your parents isn't cool…

hetalia does have some stuff inappropriate for children (mild swearing, a little of The Sęx), but I don't think the anime itself will corrupt children. If your parents have had the talk with you then it's probably not too bad. though the fandom is definitely something to stay away from if you have conservative parents, though.
