Hahah, people kept telling me about this, and I couldn't see it.

It's just behind the edge of the retracted admin panel that the ST have - so we can't see it unless we login with a test account.

So: when reporting things like this: Please make sure to add a screenshot! It always helps with this sort of thing. You may think it's categorically obvious, but it might not be.

I suppose they could just set the margin-top of it to -2em or something

that way it floats on top of the footer and leaves no whitespace.
