Make search bar small again.

I just got used to the searchbar being short. I think they should at least tshrink it so it is more like _____________ then _____________________________________ or something, sinc eit gets annoiyng

It was originally to make it fit on all languages. But after protests, they lengthened it again. Also, I still don't support this suggestion and I will never support this suggestion.

To do that would involve setting the flex size of everything but the searchbar to 2, and the searchbar to 1. Might as well make a fully customizable search bar.

To those who are saying “no support, no support”, I think it's worth pointing out that this is really more of a *glitch* problem than a suggestion.

The issue is that the search bar is appearing, and remaining, too long sometimes, and wiping out the things that are normally right of it (messages, profile, etc.)

I think this topic should be closed and reopened in “Bugs & Glitches” with this better description of the problem.

So your major concern is that it is overlaping other screen elements, while the page is loading? As pointed out by others, that's more of a glitch issue than a suggestion - maybe you could take that nice animated gif and start a new topic in Bugs and Glitches pointing out the overlap problem?
