Hi there everybody! This Discussion Forum is all about Sgt. Frog!

Now, if you don't know what Sgt. Frog is, I'd be happy to explain it to you!

Sgt. Frog is about a platoon of alien frogs that try to take over planet Earth or as they call it ‘Pekopan’.

Why does Netflix take down the good shows from streaming? First it's the 80s and 60s adaption of Astro Boy, and now this.

Woarel watches the oldest Astro boy and it has loads of episodes…. If you want to look for it, just make sure the episodes are black and white….

Not all the episodes of the 60s version of the show where dubbed in English. Out of all 193 episodes, 89 of them didn't even air in the US. And that includes the final episode of the show “Greatest Adventure on Earth”. It mostly had to do with (from what I remember) some kind of disaster involving the sun and a villain who was a robot that went under the disguise of a human. And Astro dies at the end while trying to stop the said disaster. I saw the episode on YouTube back in 2011, it's gone now most likely.

What really stinks is I found out Sgt. Frog was almost shown on either Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network, but then the rights transferred over to FUNimation and they didn't want the new dub they were doing.
