It's finally here. Did you upgrade? Do you like it? What are your overall impressions? Discuss.

I'm on it right now and like it a lot! I like that menu you pull up from the bottom, as well as radio. It also got rid of my “other” data that was starting to take up my storage space. Also, I know this can't be, but I swear my music sounds much better.

I haven't downloaded it yet, but I am not a fan of the futuristic design.

Okay, I just found out a hilarious article about how iOS 7 is the first sign of the apocalypse.

It updated!
Siri seems to have improved a lot, she seems less robotic. Didn't lose any data from it.

No data lost, perfect fast upgrade. However, I don't like the internet browser as much…. this “metro” look for Apple and Microsoft don't go well with me.

So I checked it out on my friend's 4S, (I don't have an iOS device), and it's actually not what I expected. I mean sure, it has all the features they promised, but it just doesn't really make you say “Wow!” like I was hoping. For example, it is really spotty when trying to open Control Center. It works like 70% of the time. It surely is an improvement to iOS 6, but not what I expected.

Yeah, I actually wasn't at “Wow” as I thought I'd be. It's mainly a different look and control center and radio (and many other little things). What I hope for is that that “other” data stops forming. Know what I'm talking about? So I checked it out on my friend's 4S, (I don't have an iOS device), and it's actually not what I expected. I went on a little bit of a hype roller coaster. I was one of the ones who was trying to crash Apple's servers by downloading ASAP. My ability to upgrade was postponed because of the crashes of servers giving me the error “software update is unavailable at this time.” Then one person in my class got the update to finish and I started getting second thoughts because it's pretty much irreversible. To be honest, it was not everything I wanted it to be visually. Quite simply Apple will not make the mobile OS I want because of their policies. I still wish that my iPad could run Android. But once I got to know it and some of its extra features (I love iTunes Radio and the new lock screen music player interface, and I still think the UI is an improvement) I once again must tip my metaphorical cap to Sir Jonathan Ive.
