Adding a compiler
I think scratch should add a compiler to atleast one of these formats, and have it without the green flag buisness:
Windows Application format (.exe)
Mackintosh Application format (.app)
HTML format (including (.js) inside) (.html)
MS-DOS Application (.com)
Please reply if there is a compiler to any of these formats.

Adding a compiler
There are already compilers people have made…
And it's probably a better idea to develop a professional application anyways for use outside of Scratch.
Aside from that, there are potential issues that could come up what with the remixing and non-credit-giving stuff that's happening…

Adding a compiler
Sorry, no support.
How would this be implemented? It could be truly compiled to native code in a bajillion different ways, or packaged with a bare minimum Scratch, like BYOB 3 or Scratch2EXE (with a packaged image and squeak VM)
If you have lots of time, try making your own!
