How do you put a sound from the backpack into a sprite? I've tried dragging it to the places where I'd expect you'd have to and nothing is happening.

That's a common issue where this doesn't work. The best way is to save it to your computer and then import it directly from the sounds tab, which should work then.

In the sound editor, right-click on the sound you want to save, and select “save to local file”.

It's the FILE EXTENSION I'm questioning. There's like 1000 kinds of sound files around the world; how do we pick just one?
