Monopoly Board Game Collaboration *IN NEED OF ARTISTS AND SOUND EFFECT CREATORS*

I've been meaning to make a Monoply game on Scratch for a while now, but I think it's going to be a big project. So, I'm starting a collab for it!

Positions
Below is a list of positions in this collab and an explanation of what they do.
  • Artist- The artists draw all of the art for the collab including logos, sprites, and any other art requested of them.
  • Head Artist- The head artist is an artist, but is also in charge of all art. If a programmer were to say, “We need a drawing of a duck,” then the head artist would assign a user/group of users to draw the duck. They frequently check in with the artists to make sure that all the illustrating is getting done. They are also in charge of making sure all artists are active. If an artist is no longer active, they leave a comment on their profile reminding them to check in on the collab.
  • Programmer- The programmers program the project. Currently not available.
  • Head Programmer- The head programmer is a programmer, but is also in charge of all programming. If a brainstormer were to say, “We need a menu,” then the head programmer would assign a user/group of users to program the menu. They frequently check in with the programmers to make sure that all the programming is getting done. They are also in charge of making sure all programmers are active. If a programmer is no longer active, they leave a comment on their profile reminding them to check in on the collab. Currently not available.
  • Recruiter- The recruiters accept and/or decline any new collaborators.
  • Head Recruiter- The head recruiter is a recruiter, but is also in charge of all art. If a programmer were to say, “We need more programmers with scrolling experience,” then the head recruiter would assign a user/group of users to recruit programmers with scrolling experience. They are also in charge of making sure all recruiters are active. They frequently check in with the recruiters to make sure that all the recruiting is getting done. If a recruiter is no longer active, they leave a comment on their profile reminding them to check in on the collab. Currently not available.
  • Sound Effect Master- The sound effect masters are in charge of finding and/or creating sound effects. Sound effects include music.
  • Head Sound Effect Master- The head sound effect master is a sound effect master, but is also in charge of all sound effects and music. If a programmer were to say, “We need scary instrumental music,” then the head sound effect master would assign a user/group of users to create/find some scary instrumental music. They frequently check in with the sound effect masters to make sure that all the sound effects are getting found/made. They are also in charge of making sure all sound effect masters are active. If a sound effect master is no longer active, they leave a comment on their profile reminding them to check in on the collab. Currently not available.
  • Brainstormer- The brainstormers come up with ideas for the collab.
  • Head Brainstormer- The head brainstormer is a brainstormer, but is also in charge of all brainstorming. If a programmer were to say, “We need ideas for the menu,” then the head brainstormer would assign a user/group of users to come up with ideas for the menu. They frequently check in with the brainstormers to make sure that all the brainstorming is getting done. They are also in charge of making sure all brainstormers are active. If a brainstormer is no longer active, they leave a comment on their profile reminding them to check in on the collab. Currently not available.
  • Debugger- The debuggers debug any code for the collab.
  • Head Debugger- The head debugger is a debugger, but is also in charge of all debuging. If a programmer were to say, “We need the menu debugged,” then the head debugger would assign a user/group of users to debug the menu. They frequently check in with the debuggers to make sure their all the debugging is getting done. They are also in charge of making sure all debuggers are active. If a debugger is no longer active, they leave a comment on their profile reminding them to check in on the collab. Currently not available.

Studio Information
There are seven studios for this collab. There's the artists', the programmers', the recruiters', the sound effect masters', the brainstormers', the debuggers', and the main studio.

All collab members curate the main studio and the studio(s) with their job title(s). The Head Programmer is a manager in the programmers' studio, the Head Artist is a manger in the artists' studio, and so on as well as the main studio. The owner manages all studios related to the collab.

You should add all projects regarding the collab to the main studio, that way everything is easy to find. If the programmers (or any other job group) are working on the menu, for example, then they would put the work in progress menu in the programmers' studio. When it was finished, then they would put it in the main studio. They would also ask for it to be put in the debuggers' studio so that the debuggers could debug it.

Head Artist/Programmer/Recruiter/Sound Effect Master/Brainstormer/Debugger should update their studio description with assignments for their job title, and generally keep the collab members with their job updated on what they should be doing. and what the other jobs are going.

Assignments
Below is a list of assignments. You will find the assignment's name, who is working on it, a description, the day it was assigned, and any other information. When an assignment is complete, please add it to the studio.
Assignment 1: Everyone should answer these questions.

Awesome, you're hired!

Would you like to be Head Programmer? They basically help the programmers with whatever they need and make sure all programming projects are being done. Someone (most likely me) would tell them, for example, we need a menu programmed and then the Head Programmer would decide who should program the menu (and how many people should work on it).

Monopoly Board Game Collaboration *IN NEED OF ARTISTS AND SOUND EFFECT CREATORS*

As your first assignment, everyone (currently only @GoldPing) please answer these questions, just so we can get an idea of what we are working on.

1. What version of Monopoly do you want to make? We can make the original, the m&m version, the Disney Villan version, the cat version, or any version (possibly even create our own version)! Do you want to make multiple versions and have the users choose their theme? The only difference between all the versions is the art and what the cards/pieces are called. For example, in the Disney Villains version instead of buying hotels you buy mansions. Instead of buying the railroad, you buy Edgar's motorcycle.
2. How many players should there be? Do we want to make it a multiplayer in the sense that player 1 takes their turn, and then player 2 uses the same computer to take their turn? Do we want to use cloud data to create a multiplayer across multiple computers? Or do we want players to compete against a computer? Should there be options to play against a computer or a local player?
3. Are there any special features or new rules we want to include? Do we want to change the game in any way, or just adapt it?

Thanks for taking part in this collab!

Maybe the original, and players? Perhaps 2, and maybe just do the main aspect of the game first and then go on from there.

Okay. I'm good with that. I think we'll wait for some more members before we start any big work. Do you know anyone that might want to join? I'll give it 24 hours before I start advertising.

Yeah, I mean Monopoly is a pretty complex game and it's very old (since the 1920's!) But 50 views is not bad to have in 2 days to be honest!

Well maybe @Hamish752 or @makethebrainhappy but they're already in a lot of collaborations..
Yeah… I asked @makethebrainhappy to give me some input on my post, and he hasn't responded yet. This topic has 53 views, so maybe it's just a lack of interest?
Yeah, I mean Monopoly is a pretty complex game and it's very old (since the 1920's!) But 50 views is not bad to have in 2 days to be honest!
technically less than 12 hours.
Oh, lol okay but that's even better!

Monopoly Board Game Collaboration *IN NEED OF ARTISTS AND SOUND EFFECT CREATORS*

Username: Hamish752
Any alternate accounts you might post with: Erm… @Hamish752_Test, @Hamish752_Designs, @Evil_Kumquat420, @No60SecondRule. I'll try to stick with my main though.
Position(s) wished: I can do brainstormer, programmer, recruiter or debugger, or head of any of those. Put me where you need Scratchers most.
Example of work: The programming for this on was very difficult, the art is horrible though.
Other: I've been in many other collaborations. I could give you a full list, but that would take a while and probably wouldn't do much anyway….

forge [chromometer v] altimeter until < (speed) = (velocity)> ::control cstart
switch places with (759 v) altimeters with value of (speed) ::looks
control [altimeter 1 v] at time (10):(17):(58) ::control
end

Hmm…. could I maybe be head debugger? Because my programming can be a little shaky at times. I can still be programmer, but not head programmer.
