Making music

Does anyone know a tool that makes creating music easier and is free? I mainly want it for non-profit game reasons.

That's… not really an answer. Those things could contain literally any kind of music

Are we talking recording and editing audio from real instruments? Building music from a library of samples? Synthesising instruments?

- Soundtrap (Free is limited to 5 projects)
- Mixcraft (only if you can manage to break the trial function)
- LMMS (I recommend using this one only if you have prior experience with multiple sequencers)
- Ohm Studio (free is limited in number of projects & sound export)
- AudioSauna (kind of limited, but not too hard to figure out)
- Audiotool (A bit more difficult, but runs in your browser)

If you have any relevant inquiries, feel free to contact me on my scratch profile.

I recommend the fl studio 12 demo because even though you cant save a project you can basically create what you want and export it into mp3 and save it to your computer. I have the full version but when I had the fl studio 9 and 10 demos I found out multiple ways to do anything i wanted including use the demo sounds without them cutting off.

I suggest Soundnation, it's very simple, easy to use, and I believe you can use it for making songs for your games. There used to be a better one called Clubcreate, but unfortunately it got taken down

Wait, if you can export to a mp3 file, Then why not just never turn your PC off 'till your sound is done? THE FULL VERSION IS USELESS!

I guess it's because most people will work on multiple songs at once, since they take a while to create. But if you don't see that as an inconvenient, then yeah, I guess it's basically like the full version.

Not everyone can finish their work in one sitting.
