Wiki Questions: Curator

While I was adding a new section to the curator article, I wrote something which I feel would be best with a citation:

It is not uncommon for a curator to make a curator project. In most cases, their project simply states that they are curator and would appreciate ideas on what to curate.[citation needed]

So, I have two questions for everyone:

Is it common for curators to make a curator project?
In a curator project, what do you normally see?

I don't know how common they are, but here are a few examples of projects, see for yourself:

You usually see a presentation where the slides explain what sort of projects the curator-to-be is looking for, and a lot of the time they say when their shift starts and ends.

NOTE: I think I might have found all of them. There have been 112 curators, and I found 23 curator projects- that means that 20.5% of curators make a project about it (I may have missed a few- my method for finding them was searching “curator” in the search bar. The last one on the list was the very first curator project and the first one is the most recent one- that's why I think I may have found pretty much all of them).

Since you've already started a list, and since you skipped mine (I was the 104th curator), could you add this one project for more accuracy?

Ah yes, I did see Curator Cove but for some reason it didn't register in my mind as a Curator-announcement project. There may have been others like that which I just skipped over…. I'll update the figures I calculated.

My curator project, if I have time to make one, will be my 100th project.

I'd say it's common, and I normally see requirements, types of projects, etc.

This project is the instruction to curators. It is silent on the subject.

If not a topic, many will use a forum thread. Some people even use both. I had a gallery (too lazy to find it right now).

•In a curator project, what do you normally see? In a nutshell, they typically say the user has become curator, he/she is looking for projects to curate, and most of the time says the kind of things he/she is looking for (and may even include some criteria).
