How do you put music to a project?

If you want a specific song, just find the song on youtube, google “youtube to mp3 converter,” post the link in the converter, and download the mp3 file. Then upload it to scratch. Its that simple.

Yes it will loop the sound forever (or at least until the red button is pressed!). No you don't need an SD card. If you have a microphone then you can record yourself otherwise a wav or mp3 file from the internet or your music collection could be used.

Once your in the project, go to the “sounds” bit at the top. Then click “upload sound from file” . You choose the song, then click ok. Then in the next wav: 5-10 secs, mp3 30-60 secs it will come up. Then you go to “blocks” again and do this:

when green flag clicked
forever
play sound [sound v] until done    
end

Or

when I receive [message v]
forever
    
play sound [sound v] until done
end

Then it should play the music. Its really quite simple.
