Hello, Scratchers! This is purplebook163. I've been working on a new project, and I would like to share it with you.

I'm working on a Rick Riordan Virtual World. It's based on Rick Riordan's books: Precy Jackson and the Olympians, The Kane Chronicles, The Heroes of Olympus, the Percy Jackson and Kane Chronicles crossover series, and the upcoming Magnus Chase series. Fans of the books will be happy to know I am NOT basing the game off of the movies, I'm basing them off the books.

When players begin, they get to create their character. When creatining their character, players are asked if they have read the books. If they haven't, then players are told a brief summary of Rick's books and then continue on to customizing their character. If players have, they go on and customize their character.

Customizing their character is completley up to them! Every element of each player's character is customizable, so they can change anything and everything. Player's have the ability to choose their nationallity, godly parent, hair color, hair style, skin color, name, and gender.

Every player is assigned their own bunk bed in a cabin or room (depending on theit nationallity). They get to decorate it with lamps, posters, pictures, pillows, sheets, clocks, and more!

Players go on quests for the Gods, recieve prophecies from the Oracle, fight monsters, and save the world form terrible fates. They can also participate in conversations in the many different chatrooms, meet their favorite characters from the books, and compete against the other camps and cabins/chorots/floors (depending on their nationallity) in fun games such as archery, sword fighting, and chariot races.

It's currently being finished, and I'll update you as new features are added! If you have any questions, thoughts, or suggestions feel free to leave them below and I'll reply as soon as I get the chance.

Update 8/2/2015: Here is a sneak peek of the thumbnail art! @Smiley_Faces7 draws all the characters and I just do the layout. You might recognize some familiar faces. It's not finished yet, but you can still take a look.

Sounds cool! I even wrote a fan book based off of Rick Riordan (a norse book, before magnus chase was announced).

I will definitely play this!

It's not dumb. I'm not sure entirely what you mean, but I'll try my best to answer.

Once a player creates their character they get to go to their camp (or house in the case of Brooklyn House) and pick their weapons and are trained to fight (the greeks and romans with swords, and the egyptians with swords and magic). They then go on to meet their counselor and/or preator.

After a brief tutorial on how to move, what all the buttons do, etc. they get to do as they wish (join chatrooms, fight battles, go on quests, meet the characters, etc.).
