All of the 4 animatronics for the first game ARE their OWN nightmare animatronics. But they NEVER EVER show it!
But Bonnie in FNAF1 could show it… NOW WE'RE GETTING REAL!
Can you see Bonnie STANDING in the backroom at 2 AM on night 1?
When you FLIP down those CAMERAS, he goes CLOSER to the camera.
Then when you flip it back up again, Bonnie's FACE looks TERRORFING.
No eyes,really looking like his nightmare.

Your theory isn't completely wrong.. But it's not right.
Nightmare foxy.. uhm.. we wouldn't know if he would be at the fnaf2 location.. Which is where the bite took place..
BUT HERES MY THEORY

A lot of people say it would be either The Mangle or Withered Foxy because they’re jaws are the right size, and they have the sharpest designed teeth.
Ruling out withered foxy, he wouldn't be able to get to anyone during the day, and we know that one of the toy's did it from the newspaper at the end.
So a lot of people would immediatly suspect Mangle, because it couldn't be foxy.
But think about it:
Mangle is in terrible shape. She/He still wouldn't be able to move during the day because they would be taken apart by the kids constantly.
And even in that short window of time when they aren't, the guard there would probably keep the most watch on him/her. And also, because they think they're in the wrong room when theres no noise, she/he'd keep moving at a very slow pace.

So that leaves Toy freddy, Toy Bonnie, or Toy Chica.
Toy Chica wouldn't be able to because of her beak, so she's ruled out.
With Toy Bonnie and Toy Freddy, it's hard to decide.
They were allowed to move around during the day, so it's hard to say when they would be doing this.
If they were all on stage (except mangle), the most suspected would be Fred (toy freddy) because of two reasons.
One, he would be in front, with not much space blocking the way. Two, the microphone wouldn't be pressed directly up against his face, so there would still be room. And three, would be that Bon would have a guitar in his hands. That may not matter to most people, but it would make a difference. Bon would have to use both hands, and when not using it, would probably be off stage. Bon would be programed to stay in the same position and move his hands. Plus, when having to move for the right position of biting someone, he'd have to bend over slightly, probably stopping his hands, making it being way more noticed than a bear with a microphone.

So I think it's Toy Freddy. The suspect is most likely Jeremy, because he is replaced in night 7. My theory on why he was bitten is that some kid might of crawled up on stage, Fred got * because he could have looked like a criminal, and went all out crazy. Jeremy, sweet lovable Jeremy, could have grabbed the kid, gotten bitten, then miraculously survived. With surgery having to be done, he wouldn't have been able to go back, and the Toy's were discontinued.

This would also explain why the foxy from the first game still has pointy teeth, because they were never ruled out as dangerous. It was the scanners that would have been.

Yes, we all have DIFFRENT opinions for who did the bite.
We see in every FNAF4 teaser (except PlushTrap) has: SHARP TEETH!
And, I tried to split the nightmare bonnie jumpscare thing in half.
And I saw NOTHING of Old Bonnie.
Yes, Foxy's the only animatronic who has point teeth.
I missed him out! Never tell Foxy that.
Now, for the TOY animatronics.
Toy Freddy+ Square Teeth=No frontal lobe bitten off.
Why?
Toy Freddy has SQUARE teeth.
Not even ANY of the FNAF theorists have found out who did the bite.
Toy Bonnie=square teeth=No frontal lobe bitten off.

Toy Bonnie has square teeth!
Toy Chica+Can't take off beak & eyes in day=No frontal lobe bitten off.

We know that he was broken during the bite because the pizzeria closes at the end of the week. If during the summer (like the phone guy's recordings tell us) that the Mangle was in bad shape, it's obvious that she would still be in that state.
