Search bar does seem a bit small. I'll ask the rest of Scratch Team about it. You can still see what you're typing though, so it's still functional.

A link to “About” was placed in the navigation bar to support newcomers on the Scratch website. There were a few other reasons too, I believe. So I don't believe that will be changing.

Yes, huge support. The wiki is much much better to add on the bar.
And huge support for the relengthening of the search bar that I use everyday!

Meh, support - really the only time someone would need to go to the About page is when they're new to the site and have no idea what Scratch is, while the other links are used (or meant to be used) somewhat more frequently.

Though it does look like many people don't ever find out there's a Wiki for Scratch.

Yes. So I never have to see it ever ever again. But it will show up when I'm logged out…

If you want to add a new tab, how about the Scratch Wiki (but it's not available in every language)?

In the future, please don't make your subject titles so “loud” with all-caps and a ton of extra words. It makes it hard to read the index and it's kind of rude to the rest of the topics as it hogs the reader's attention. I've calmed this one down for you
